I made this mouse from a pattern I found on etsy.com. I crochet it loose so it will be "squishy" for my baby girl. She was fun to make!
I knit this toy mouse for my baby girl December '06. Bought this pattern on ebay. Fun to make especially since I am a beginner knitter.
Pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts, Men's Rustic Scarf. Rowan Yorkshire Tweed Chunky colors called for were out of stock. I used Filatura Di Crosa 18 and 40. I saw a scarf on Flickr from LexNulla and quickly ran out and bought the yarn to knit a Valentine's Day Gift for Bob. I also made the Men's Cashmere Scarf in the book for him however it curled. The curling of the cashmere scarf bothered me more than it did Bob.
The baby dress pattern is adorable and the Alpaca Silk makes for a very soft, sweet dress perfect for a little girl. I knit a 36 month size in hopes she will be able to wear it for a while. The dress will be a sweet top when she outgrows its. I plan on knitting a hat with the extra yarn.
Pattern: Criss-Cross Lace Scarf from Knitspot
I made this to wear with the Blue Sky Alpaca Dress I made for Brooke.
I've always wanted to knit a little bunny however I couldn't find a pattern. I planned on making little cotton rabbits for my two year old's friends' Easter baskets this is why I was so happy to finally find a very cute pattern! . The rabbit is fun and easy. I used Debbie Bliss Cotton DK and Rowan Handknit Cotton left over from my daughter's blanket. I plan on knitting two more .... we will see.
The pattern was purchased from Debi Birkin on etsy.
Debi also has the cutest little mouse pattern I plan on knitting for my daughter.
I love vintage patterns for my daughter as they are usually so frilly. I knit this dress last year, it finally fits her. I originally crocheted white flowers for the dress however I found these matching green fabric flowers and they gave the dress a child-like oomph I was looking for. Knit in Ornaghi Filati Bambo (very soft) with size 4 needles.
Made for baby Maddie, my friend's new baby girl. The pattern is from Knitting for Baby. I used Treliske Organic Merino Yarn in Cream. I loved the simplicity of the pattern, the pattern is knit diagonally and has a cute little eyelet trim around it. I loved the embroidery used on a blanket made by Atelier XT on flickr, her baby blanket is so happy looking! Brushing up on my limited crochet and even more limited embroidery skills I finally finished the blanket before baby turns a month!
